因天氣和行程關係,今次無緣一睹那漫山葡萄田的壯闊景致,卻走訪了幾家砵酒酒窖,來了幾次醉人難忘的 wine tasting。是的,邊走邊試已成旅訪波圖的必備活動,對外開放的酒窖,都設有導賞團,介紹砵酒如何釀造和即場試飲。

漫步其中,不難發現各式充滿老葡萄牙風格的建築。位於市中心的卡爾莫教堂 (Igreja do Carmo)便是一例,它具有過百年歷史,外牆鋪滿藍、白色瓷磚砌成的磚畫,十分悅目。而當地出產的砵酒 (Port Wine) 亦是聞名於世,愛好杯中物的人士不妨淺嚐。
